Saw Infeed Conveyor

Saw Feed Conveyor Extrusion

Saw Infeed Conveyor

The Belco Saw Infeed Conveyor can either be a gravity roller-type or powered roller conveyor. The saw infeed conveyor table can be raised and lowered except for a short belt section located at the saw. The raising and lowering action are provided via a wedge-type device and are powered by a hydraulic cylinder. The short stationary section at the saw allows the next batch of material to be loaded onto the infeed conveyor while the operator is making the final cut(s) and discarding the end scrap material.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the saw infeed conveyor gravity fed or powered?

It can be built either way, as a gravity roller-type or a powered roller conveyor.

Can the conveyor height be adjusted during operation?

Yes. The table raises and lowers apart from a short belt section at the saw, using a wedge-type device powered by a hydraulic cylinder.

Why is there a fixed section at the saw?

The short stationary section lets the next batch of material be loaded onto the infeed conveyor while the operator is making the final cuts and discarding the end scrap material.
