Position Title: Project Manager

Summary:

The position will engage across all functions of the company and have exposure through the entire project process. The ideal candidate is interested in growing business, has superior analytical skills, is organized, and has a sense of urgency while maintaining direction, and focus. Candidates who take initiative, have a tremendous work ethic and a high level of integrity are considered ideal.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Responsible for identifying potential cost savings and/or cost problems that may occur on various projects
  • Attends, contributes to, and/or leads meetings with team members, sales, vendors, customers and management as needed.

Qualifications:

Field Installation Supervisor
Job Posting – Field Installation Supervisor

Position Title: Field Installation Supervisor

Summary: The position will engage across all functions of the company and have exposure to the entire installation process. The ideal candidate is interested in traveling to customer sites for extended periods of time and possesses strong analytical and organizational skills. Successful employees invite input from others and listen and react intellectually.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and coordinate the installation of systems and equipment, ensuring alignment with the project specifications and timelines.
  • Evaluate installation sites to determine requirements, potential challenges, and safety compliance.
  • Perform regular inspections and quality checks on installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and customers to provide updates and resolve issues that arise during installation.
  • Good mechanical knowledge and welding experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including materials and labor hours.
  • Collaborating with the operations, accounting, sales, and engineering to gather the information needed to complete the work.

Service Technician
Job Posting – Service Technician

Position Title: Service Technician

Summary: The position will engage across all functions of the company and have exposure to the entire service process. The ideal candidate is interested in traveling to customer sites and troubleshooting equipment and possesses strong analytical and organizational skills. Successful employees invite input from others and listen and react intellectually.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience and understanding in working with Allen – Bradley PLC Control systems, this does not require the ability to write program code but does require the ability to understand and debug or troubleshoot existing machine programming with support. (Control Logics / Compact Logics).
  • Experience in working with variable frequency drives (Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi).
  • Experience working with hydraulic fluid power systems or equipment
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic electrical machine wiring (24VDC-480VAC)
  • Good mechanical knowledge and some welding experience.
  • Prior experience working with any type of gas combustion systems is very helpful.
  • Collaborating with the operations, accounting, sales, and engineering to gather the information needed to complete the work.
  • Prior experience in the field of Aluminum Extrusion or machine maintenance is also helpful
  • Using a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Office products and the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to create and edit process documentation such as purchase orders and bill of materials.
  • Recommending improvements that lower costs and/or increase production.
    This is a field service position and the qualified applicant will be required to travel frequently as a condition of employment. Travel is typically to and from job sites throughout the contiguous United States, however, travel outside of the country is sometimes required.
    It is the intension of Belco Industries to minimize in any way possible the technicians time away from home on weekends and evenings if possible. To this end, the technicians will most often travel to job sites on a schedule which will allow them to complete the work and be travel back home within the same week. However, jobs which require an extended stay do happen and should be understood as a condition of employment for this position.

Position Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will work closely with customers and internal teams to develop custom engineered solutions for finishing industrial applications. This position is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, process engineering, or mechanical engineering who enjoys solving technical challenges and building customer relationships.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop technical proposals, quotations, and cost estimates for custom industrial finishing systems.
  • Evaluate customer applications and recommend equipment, layouts, and process improvements that increase productivity, efficiency, and quality.

Welder Fabricator
Job Posting – Welder Fabricator

Position Title: Welder Fabricator

Summary: Belco Industries is currently seeking novice to highly experienced candidates for the position of Welder Fabricator. Novice candidates should have some prior experience in metal fabrication and welding, know how to read a tape measure, and have good mechanical aptitude, while experienced candidates should possess the ability to read and build from mechanical shop drawings.

Position responsibilities and requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • The welder/fabricator position requires the ability to perform the work or tasks assigned (with some training or instruction as required) daily. This work requires the ability to interpret and build from fabrication drawings and to assemble industrial equipment or systems being manufactured.
  • All candidates should have basic metal fab skills necessary to perform the tasks involved – with some instruction and/or training as necessary based on experience level.
  • Workers will use various power tools and equipment and should have experience or familiarity with using: GMAW wire welders, plasma or flame cutters, steel saws, grinders, press brakes, plate shears, drill presses, ironworkers, forklifts, overhead cranes, etc.
  • The worker will be required to lift, push, pull, etc., steel, or other components (up to 50 lbs.), and stand, bend, kneel, squat, etc. in the performance of the work. The amount of lifting, standing, bending, kneeling, etc. varies constantly depending on the current work being performed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and/or Technical Training with certification preferred.
  • High attention to detail, fulfilling responsibilities with integrity and accuracy.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment and a willingness to learn.

Compensation: A 40-hour workweek with travel & overtime opportunities, paid annual vacation time after 12 months of employment, and 9 paid holidays per year. Medical and Dental benefits are available, as well as a 401k retirement plan with a company contribution of $.35 per hour worked and an additional matching contribution of up to $.40 per hour.

The current pay rate for this position is between $15 and $24.94 per hour based on experience and ability.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Posting – Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Position Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting the daily shipping, receiving, and inventory functions of the company. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials and finished products are accurately received, documented, stored, and shipped to customers. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Shipping

  • Pick, verify, package, weigh, and document customer orders for shipment.
  • Create packing slips, Bills of Lading, UPS/FedEx labels, and export documentation as needed.
  • Schedule freight carriers and enter shipping information, tracking numbers, and PRO numbers into the ERP system.
  • Photograph packaged shipments for documentation purposes.
  • Charge out shipped inventory items and maintain shipping records.
  • Load trucks and prepare shipments for carrier pickup as needed.
  • Run end-of-day shipping reports.

 

Receiving

  • Unload and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
  • Verify received materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and job requirements.
  • Receive materials into the ERP system and properly label items with job and part numbers.
  • Distribute materials to inventory, production, or designated job locations.
  • Stock inventory items in assigned locations and maintain receiving records.
  • Report damaged, incorrect, or missing materials.
  • Receiving responsibilities do not include steel, lumber, insulation, or coil materials.

 

Inventory

  • Maintain accurate crib and stock inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when replenishment is needed.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Ensure inventory items are properly labeled and stored.

 

General

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic credentials: High school diploma required
  • 1-3 years of shipping and receiving experience preferred
  • Forklift certification or forklift experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials in a manufacturing environment
